Product Overview
Type A racking is a heavy-duty steel storage system designed for storing glass panels, pipes, lumber, aluminum profiles, PVC profiles, decorative moldings, sheet materials, and other long items. With its customizable steel structure and flexible storage configurations, SDREX’s Type A racking helps you organize long items efficiently while making better use of floor and vertical space.

Applications
A-Frame Uprights: A-shaped inclined main uprights. Single-sided racks have supports on one side only; double-sided racks use two joined A-shaped uprights with support arms on both sides for two-side loading & unloading.
Base Support: Heavy-duty base frame. Rubber or wood padding can be fitted on contact points for fragile items like glass to avoid direct steel contact.
Adjustable Divider Support Beams: Horizontal support arms that can be adjusted up and down to partition storage compartments; the spacing can be adjusted as needed to accommodate panels or profiles of varying widths.
Divider / Compartment Separators:Vertical dividers that partition the rack into multiple independent compartments, preventing panels and profiles from tipping over or colliding with one another.
Top Connecting Beam: A full-length steel beam at the top that connects multiple sets of A-frame uprights into a single unit, enhancing overall stability.
Our Products
Mobile A-Frame Racks are fitted with heavy-duty casters for easy movement, ideal for flexible storage and transport of glass sheets, stone slabs and long panels inside workshops.
Static A-Frame Racks are fixed steel storage frames without casters, offering stable heavy-load vertical storage for glass, stone and profile materials at designated warehouse positions.

Our Strengths
Different products require different storage configurations.
For example, glass manufacturers may need wide bases, protective contact surfaces, and high load-bearing capacity;
while profile distributors may need more compartments, adjustable cantilevers, and features that facilitate manual picking.
With years of experience in designing A-Frame Racks and rigorous quality inspections, we can customize A-Frame Racks to meet your specific application needs.

Got Questions?
A-frame racks are primarily used for vertical or angled storage of long, narrow, flat, or oversized materials. Common applications include glass, pipes, tubing, lumber, aluminum profiles, PVC profiles, decorative moldings, trim, and sheet materials.
Yes. Depending on the design, the divider arms can be fixed or adjustable. Adjustable dividers allow you to swap them out based on the dimensions of your various products.
Load capacity depends on rack dimensions, structural steel, support structure, divider configuration, and load distribution. We recommend determining capacity based on the actual product weight and storage requirements rather than using generic capacity values.
Yes. We can customize the height, length, base depth, frame configuration, divider spacing, load capacity, protective coatings, and surface finish to suit your application.
Please provide your material type, product dimensions, product weight, required storage capacity, number of storage locations, available floor space, and loading method. Based on these details, we will help you determine the appropriate A-frame rack configuration.
